Grand Bazar
The Grand Bazar is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with over 4,000 shops.
You can find all sorts of shops there including brand knock-offs, suveneers, spices and sweets, handmade jelwery, and more…
PS: It’s closed on Sunday’s
Pick-up and Drop-off
I will pick you up from your hotel by 10:00 and drop you back whenever we finish our trip.

Shopping for normal good quality clothes is advised at the malls, such as
- Mall of Istanbul (general)
- 212 Outlet AVM (outlet)
- İstinye Park (luxury brands)
- Olivium Outlet Center
- Zeruj Port AVM (conservative women’s clothing only)
READ BEFORE TAKING A TAXI!!!
Steps to a safe taxi ride:
- Tell him the location
- Confirm with the taxi driver on the “METER”, just say Meter and if he starts saying a price, traffic, or any excuse then leave.
- Take a picture of his license plate before you enter the car, its written on the side of the door from the outside also.
- Confirm that the meter starts at 15 TL, it is on the dashboard mirror.
- Pay what is on the meter ONLY, traffic is their excuse to charge your more.
- If any CONDITION IS NOT MET, LEAVE THE TAXI IMMEDIATELY.
- Worst case scenario, pay him 100-200 liras and leave, Taxi drivers can be aggressive and dangerous. Your safety is first.
Note:
95% don’t take card payments, only cash.
Taxi Scammers are mostly located in touristic areas. so if you are not finding a good taxi, walk to a different area on the main streets.
